Recall petition begins against Cowboys for Trump founder (Couy D. Griffin) SANTA FE, N.M. (AP) — A political committee has begun circulating a petition to recall Cowboys or Trump founder Couy Griffin from public office as a commissioner in Otero County. The Committee to Recall Couy Griffin said Thursday in a news release that it has begun collecting signatures in efforts to scheduled a recall election.

N.M. Supreme Court upholds decision allowing recall of Otero County Commissioner Couy Griffin On June 28, Judge Michael E. Vigil affirmed the New Mexico District Court decision that probable cause exists in the case to recall Couy Griffin.
