• Pair of guilty pleas for suburban Chicagoans charged in Jan. 6 attack on US Capitol They traveled together to Washington, D.C. and now have paid the price for a road trip that ended with them in the middle of a Capitol riot.

• Capitol riot suspects had more ties to Oath Keepers than previously known NPR has identified previously undisclosed connections between the far-right anti-government group the Oath Keepers and defendants charged in connection with the Jan. 6 Capitol riot.

• an. 6 was a big day for Dawn Frankowski, who went by “Dawn Maga” on Facebook. First she appeared on Fox & Friends, then she stormed the Capitol, per feds.
• ‘Like going to the shopping mall’: Two (Dawn Frankowski and David Wiersma) arrested in suburbs for alleged role in US Capitol breach David Wiersma was arrested in Posen, and Dawn Frankowski was arrested in Naperville. They are at least the 15th and 16th Illinoisans arrested in connection with the Jan. 6 breach.
