King County man (Joseph Elliott Zlab) pleads guilty to role in Jan. 6 riot at U.S. Capitol One year after a group of people loyal to then-president Donald Trump stormed the U. S. Capitol, a man from King County pleaded guilty to his role in the riot. Federal agents arrested Joseph Zlab of Lake Forest Park in May 2021. RELATED | King County man arrested, charged with entering U. S. Capitol during deadly insurrection. He was charged with knowingly entering the Capitol without permission as well as violent entry and disorderly conduct on Capitol grounds.
