• U.S. Capitol Rioter (Mark Jefferson Leffingwell) Charged With Assaulting Police Officer Pleads Not Guilty to Seven Counts Capitol rioter Mark Jefferson Leffingwell, whose assault of a police officer was narrated in court papers from the perspective of the victim, pleaded not guilty to seven charges on Friday afternoon.

• Seattle man who served in Washington National Guard (Mark Jefferson Leffingwell) is among first indicted in attack on U.S. Capitol A federal grand jury has indicted a former member of the Washington National Guard on felony charges alleging he broke into the U.S. Capitol building with the insurrectionist mob last week and repeatedly punched a federal police officer.
